Boscha’s Sun Binoculars

boschaAs reported the nation’s leading newspapers, Kompas. Indonesia Boscha observatory located in Lembang, Bandung, West Java now has a new facility in the form of sun glasses. Lembang is located in tropical areas and enough to make a pretty good strategy to study the sun.

NASA already has a SOHO (Solar & Heliospheric Observatory), certainly not balanced when compared to existing solar telescope in the Boscha. However, due to the strategic location and close enough to the center of Bandung. This is very good facilities to attract people, especially students.

Looking ahead, the data from this solar telescope will be connected with live streaming on the ITB’s website and updated in real time. This data would be used for the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN).
